Finding REAL help

Americans who seek protection from an abusive legal system and an unresponsive government have a tough road to travel. Consumer oriented assistance on these matters is difficult to find. Consequently, when a person is hurting and cannot find a solution, he will ask for help from everyone in sight, regardless of qualifications or anticipated success. This is a sad situation for those who really need help.

The reason for Citizen Control

One of the major reasons for launching Citizen Control was because of the difficulty of finding reasonably priced and reliable consumer advice on how best to deal with government abuse, especially as it relates to the judiciary. The only time a permanent solution to this problem will occur is when the voting public demands it. In the meantime, Citizens should  scan trustworthy consumer groups to locate unbiased information on how to cope with the current situation.

Limitations

Due to it's limited resources and the lack of the qualifications needed to provide individual assistance in an unjust system, Citizen Control cannot help individuals and does not offer legal advice. The best use of Citizen Control's limited time/money resources are in reporting useful news and techniques, selling the book, and building this web site.

Most of the best consumer suggestions have been published in "Survival of the Slickest". Additional consumer suggestions may be posted from time to time on this web site and in future Citizen Control publications as they become available. Although this information might serve as valuable consumer advice, it might not have any value with the unworkable intricacies of litigation in specific abusive situations.

Your best bet

In the meantime, it will be necessary to fight the "slickest" to the best of your ability on their own turf. Read Survival of the Slickest.  Follow some of its suggestions. Look over this web site. Gather names of trustworthy consumer groups. And never give up seeking  justice for yourself and others.

Your horror story

We would like to hear your horror story. In many situations, one of the best ways to attempt to achieve justice is to publicize the problems associated with it. We will try to follow the progress of various horror stories, post them on this web site and possibly refer to them in articles and interviews.

If you have a horror story, you may send us a brief outline with your contact information. Do not spend too much of your valuable time writing anything more than a brief outline at this time. We will contact you for more information if we believe that it will contribute to the overall goals of Citizen Control and possibly provide you with the publicity that might help improve your situation.
